Upon receiving her B.A. from Boston University in 1997, Lisa Zappala Wood began in a law firm as a receptionist and was quickly promoted to paralegal. After working as a paralegal for a few years, she entered Suffolk University Law School’s evening division; working during the day as a paralegal, going to school at night, and starting a family, Lisa earned her Juris Doctor, cum laude, from Suffolk University Law School in the fall of 2003 and subsequently took the Massachusetts Bar Exam as well as the New Hampshire Bar Exam. Lisa Zappala Wood has been a member of both the Massachusetts Bar and the New Hampshire Bar since 2004. She is also a member of the Federal Bar in both jurisdictions. Shortly after entrance to the bar, Attorney Wood began her career as a lawyer at a local general practice firm where she developed her skills in a variety of civil matters in both MA and NH. With 7 years of paralegal experience and over 8 years as a practicing attorney, Lisa Zappala Wood began her own law practice in Pepperell, MA in 2013.

Volunteer Work
Attorney Wood is a panel volunteer with Mediation Services of North Central Massachusetts, Inc., Middlesex Community College Law Center and with the Lawyer for the Day Program in Worcester County Probate and Family Court. She is also past member of the Groton Community School Board of Directors.
